I would say thankyou for the insight, but unfortunately all I can ask is what were you guys smoking when you thought it was a good idea to require a full Max install to make Backburner work correctly, an application that is by it's very nature a server application. Well it's very nice to find a post that finally (after many years of silence) sheds some light on the stupendously frustrating mess that is Backburner. The only supported method for installing 3ds Max’s backburner plugin onto a Backburner Manager machine is to install 3ds Max or 3ds Max Design on the manager (since 3ds Max or 3ds Max Design installs the Backburner plugins at same time during install) For 3ds Max to be able to specify Timeout override values for the Manager, the Manager needs to load the 3ds Max Backburner plugin to extend the Manager Timeout abilities.
